Anne Maclean BSc MRPharmS DTM MFTM RCPS(Glasg) Ind Presc.
Anne is a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber and has practised Travel Medicine since 2007.
She established, and is the Clinical Director of, Gecko Travel Clinic within Stirling University’s medical practice.
Following successful completion of the Diploma in Travel Medicine in 2013 Anne became a Member of the Faculty of Travel Medicine at The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2015.
Anne has contributed to the webinar series of the BGTHA and the online book and has also organised and presented at several multi-disciplinary meetings.
Special interests include Global Health, Senior Travellers and Student and Youth Travel.
Anne has travelled extensively to many countries including India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Borneo, Tanzania, Jordan, Peru, Morocco and most of Europe.
She regularly attends conferences overseas and in the UK.
In addition to travelling Anne is a keen photographer, linguist, skier and is a certified scuba diver. Other hobbies include hillwalking, mountain-biking, yoga, reading, music and gardening.
