This year’s conference took place in the Mshed, in its spectacular setting on the Bristol waterfront, which proved so popular in 2012. The general theme was “Gastrointestinal Infection as a Global Problem and a Problem for Travellers”.
There were plenary sessions with speakers who are acknowledged experts in their field. In addition there were parallel sessions during which members was able to attend an ABC workshop on one of the basic elements of travel medicine, including malaria, travel vaccines, the travel consultation, guidelines and decision making.
