I’ve been a Community Pharmacist for a large multiple for a number of years, working in a variety of roles, and have experience in Primary Care where I was involved in writing SOPs and integrating Community pharmacy and GP services.
I began providing a Travel Medicine service in 2012 in Community Pharmacy, and haven’t looked back since! It’s one of the most enjoyable aspects of my role as a Community Pharmacist, and lead to a keen interest in Travel Medicine, membership of the BGTHA, and attendance at several conferences. I have recently started to train and mentor other pharmacists, to enable them to provide a Travel Health service. I’m passionate about training and education, giving pharmacists the confidence to conduct high quality travel consultations. I have completed the LSTM Professional Diploma in Travel Health.
