I graduated from The University of Portsmouth in 2010 and was awarded an MPharm degree and became a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber in 2017. The same year, I joined the Boots Independent Medical Agency (IMA) to prescribe for the Boots Travel Vaccinations and Health Advice Service. I have previous experience working in community pharmacy and as a prescriber in primary care in the NHS, supporting patients with long-term conditions.
I enrolled onto the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow to begin the Postgraduate Diploma in Travel Medicine in May 2025.
Since returning to Boots in August 2024 to manage to IMA following a break away from the business, I have re-ignited my passion for travel medicine, and this is reflected in numerous updates and improvements to vaccine offers for our service users.
My ‘free’ time is spent running after my two daughters! In addition to travel medicine, and often in conjunction with it, I have a passion for tackling health inequalities in our healthcare systems.
